Villa do Vale East Apartment
self-catering one-bedroom apartment, in private Villa with salt water pool
Away from the traffic and bustle of town, yet close enough to everything to make it possible not to have a car, our apartment is the perfect setting for a relaxing and enjoyable short stay. A Shopping Centre with shops, bank, ATM machines, food court, is 15 min. walk away. Supermarkets and restaurants are also a short walk away. The city bus stops at the entrance of the estate providing excellent and reasonably priced connections to nearby sites.
This is the ideal, safe and comfortable corner for couples who enjoy a sheltered restful place after daily strolls on the beach, exploring the area or resting in various garden areas or around the pool.
Bedroom: Initially an efficiency studio, the apartment has now a spacious interior bedroom with fitted wooden wardrobes and queen size bed with Memory mattress (by moulding itself to your body shape and temperature-sensitive, this mattress provides complete support for your spine and joints. Like sleeping on a cloud!). Upholstered linen headboard. Décapéd night stands with drawers. Full length mirror. 100% cotton linens and pillows. Wall-to-wall custom-made wood wardrobes and toilette dresser with drawers. The bedroom has a small high window to garden mostly for ventilation. The Eastern part of the garden is also for the exclusive enjoyment of the guests of this apartment.
Bathroom: steps to private bathroom with walls in yellow and cobalt blue hand painted tiles. Mirror framed by tiles. Spacious walk-in shower with double sliding glass doors.
Efficiency kitchenette: equipped with induction hob, microwave with oven/grill, small (bar) refrigerator, toaster, coffee machine, electric kettle, electric frying pan, utensils, plates, cups, glasses, pots, tea towels, etc. Table and chairs for cozy meals inside. Ceramic four-plate hob. For the guests who enjoy more extensive cooking, we advise our West Apartment with its fully equipped kitchen. Or you may enjoy our BBQ and meals under the grapevine pergola.
Living space: living, dining and kitchen are all on an open area concept. Living area with leather sofa, side tables, and huge gilt framed mirror. Comfortable original oriental carpet. TV with BBC and international channels. The front door leads on to small, protected patio with table and chairs. Window with mosquito netting open to patio.
Storage: small room with ironing board, iron, dry rack for laundry (also outside lines – washing machine available at the back).
Entrance area with corner built-in wardrobe with shelves, drawers and plenty of coat hanging space and storage. Full length mirror.
Outside: Walled garden and patio – grapevine arbor which provides shade during the hot summer months. Under the arbor there is a garden table, bench and chairs for studio guests … perfect for al fresco breakfast!
The property is landscaped all around: bougainvillea, roses, rosemary, honeysuckle, fuchsias, hibiscus, oleanders. Also fruit trees: fig, olive, persimmon, citrus, grapevines.
The East apartment is an original combination of beautiful light wood and iron work, for a Portuguese rustic flavour … and a touch of romantic Mediterranean colours!
